The perky night of December,
Drank the wine of golden youth.
The stars that shone behind her,
Silhouetted her in my sight smooth.
The winds that shrieked the agony of the year,
But murmured her name in my ear.
For the wind saw the breeze so clear,
That blew about in my sphere.
Beneath the moonlit sky I stand,
When Nature beckons to take her hand,
Hearing her enigmatic song profuse,
How can I be a recluse?
I am in love with you – Nature,
For the values you nurture.
As in you I see my life clearer,
Reflected on your veiled mirror !
